AboutNMG (NUCES Media Group) is a student run society at National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences. Packed with entertainment, sealed with didactic information and enlightened with sequence of career reports is something we label as NMG!
NMG is an accurate platform to look for when you are in hunt of an absolute package! Our endeavors are to spread awareness regarding multimedia, to provide entertainment, to give you a chance to attend various movies/concerts/plays, to rejoice an annual Media Day, to arrange various multimedia competitions, seminars and courses related to multimedia. Moreover, to establish a common platform between media and entertainment industries, along with developing short films and documentaries.
We are a recognized society and have a history of booming events which include Telenor D'Juice's "Black Fish" Event, Media Career Day, Google Day, talk show on “Youth Responsibility” by Samaa TV, Multimedia Competitions, Summer Courses, Weekly NMG Movie Night, participation in other universities media events, arrangement of free passes and discounted tickets to various events in Lahore. To add to it, documentaries on social subjects by different TV channels along with Seminars & Workshops are also an imperative element of the NMG events.
Our customary events include the Movie Night, which is arranged weekly and is chosen through voting; and The NMG Twister – TNT. TNT is the first monthly e-zine of our university. It throws light on not-so-ordinary activities of the students at FAST. It is a publication which gives you the update of the common activities and reviews of movies and music, in a twisted way. It contains the reviews of the latest hangouts providing you with the latest gossip of the university along with exclusive interviews and surveys from the campus.
NMG's faculty advisor is Ms. Faiza Dar. She has been the faculty advisor of the team ever since its inception. Anyone can be a part of NMG. We always look forward for participation from students so that they can help us in creating the world that they have always dreamed off.
